Queen Bee Winners at The Talk of Manchester Awards

We were delighted to scoop Best SME Support Business at last week’s The Talk of Manchester Awards. Held at the Piccadilly Mercure Hotel, businesses from all industries across Greater Manchester gathered to network and celebrate the very best of Manchester businesses.  It was a pinch-yourself moment to be amongst them, but a real honour to be a winner.

With 30 categories and ours half way through, the tension really mounted.  We were delighted to applaud our friends Make Events and subsequently Zool Digital for their wins as Best Event Management Company and Best Digital Agency respectively.  When our category was announced, we took a deep breath when the Special Commendation was announced – this was our chance right? It went to newsfeed company Manc Made who were sharing our table and were very deserving for the support and promotion they give Manchester creatives.

But then, “So the overall winner is….Queen Bee!”  We both squealed just a little bit before making our way on stage.  Seeing your logo and hearing the applause was a great feeling and we simply cannot thank everyone who voted for us, the sneaky person who nominated us and the ongoing support of those who continue to believe in us – it really does mean the world.

This comes hot on the heels of being awarded runner-up to England’s VA of the Year, preceded by being shortlisted for Best PA Team at the glitzy Manchester PA of the Year Awards at the beginning of November!  What a month!

We love what we do and are delighted that our clients, colleagues and supporters feel that we’re doing a good job of it.  Right now, we’re sipping a glass of champagne, hugging our award and feel a tad proud of ourselves.
