A little bit about Queen Bee
Queen Bee was founded in 2014 — inspired by our Manchester heritage and the worker bee philosophy of industriousness, teamwork and diligence. It’s no secret our name was also homage to Joan Holloway in MadMen (the queen bee of the office) who embodies intelligence, strength of character and determination. Qualities we strive for in our hive everyday!

My years in marketing and communications means I love a good plan. Doing the research, brainstorming ideas, figuring out the logistics and mapping it all out. I still love that, but, since starting to Queen Bee, it turns out I’m the techy one. Who knew? Finding software and systems that offer us and our clients a better way of working, or a solution to a problem, is something akin to joy! When working with small business owners, we inevitably invest some of ourselves in their success, so when a client says they feel like we know their business better than they do (check out our testimonials!) it’s the ultimate compliment.

Having honed my craft in advertising agencies and working on campaigns you'll have seen across the UK. I certainly love a creative challenge; whether that's starting from a blank piece of paper or finding ways to improve and breathe new life into an existing brand. Now, working with small business owners, I’m able to draw upon my experience, to navigate what people really want for their business. Reading between the lines and getting into their head (in a non-spooky way!) is so important. Then, being able to translate those ideas into something tangible, gives me such a buzz. That, and the copious amounts of black coffee I’m renowned for consuming on a daily basis!
